JUST IN: Police Arrest Businessman For Criticizing Prince Arthur Eze

Chief Pius Nweke, a prominent businessman in Anambra State has been allegedly abducted by men of the Nigeria Police Force.

YANS gathered that Chief Nweke was whisked away by a team of policemen on Friday in Awada Street, Onitsha while driving to his office.

According to reports, his house has also been destroyed while his whereabouts is unknown.

A source told YANS that the police is being used as private thugs for personal vendetta by Prince Arthur Eze.

The source added that Chief Nweke's arrest may not be unconnected with his protest against the Supreme Court's land judgment in favor of Prince Arthur Eze.

According to the source, the gun found in Chief Nweke's possession was part of a ploy to trump up false charges against him.

When contacted, Haruna Mohammed, spokesperson for the Anambra State Police Command said the arrest was carried out by a team from the Inspector General of Police.
