The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Akwa Ibom on Thursday, dismissed the case filed by Nsima Ekere of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the election of Governor Udom Emmanuel of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In its judgement, the tribunal declared Udom Emmanuel as duly elected Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
It also granted no award as to cost.
