It’s Princess Charlotte’s first day of school
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Williams and Kate Middleton, together with their son Prince George arrived at Thomas’s Battersea with Princess Charlotte to start her academic journey.
The 4-year-old royal kept close to mom Middleton, 37, as she headed to class, along with 6-year-old George, who held William’s hand as they greeted Helen Haslem, the head of Lower School.
“He’s very excited,” William, 37, told Haslem.
Both children were dressed in their school uniforms, with Charlotte sporting a ponytail for her first day. Middleton stepped out in a floral chiffon shirt dress from MICHAEL Michael Kors, while William wore a blue jacket with a light blue button-down and dark slacks.
Thomas’s Battersea is a fee-paying school with 560 students between the ages of 4 and 13, according to the school’s website.
“We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea,” Headmaster Simon O’Malley previously said in a statement.
