Emerging reports has it that the National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. S.K.E Ude-Okoye, who was abducted on Monday evening has just regain his freedom from the kidnappers.
He was reportedly abducted on his way from his farm in Abogugu, Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The Police, while confirming the kidnap, said Okoye’s abductors were masked and Police were on their trail.
A statement from the Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Mr. Louis Amoke, confirmed the release of the former lawmaker.
Amoke stated that the “abducted National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, Rt. Hon. Sunday Udeh-Okoye, has regained his freedom.”

However, he did not indicate whether a ransom was paid to secure his release.
