According to the statement, all Primary Election Committees must comply strictly with the new submission schedule. The directive was issued by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.

For the main primaries, the deadline is firm. Committees handling governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, and State Assembly elections must submit their results and reports by Monday, May 25, 2026.

The party specified that the deadline covers both the raw result sheets and the full reports from each primary election process. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted under the stated timeline.

A separate timeline applies to legislative bye-elections. The submission of results and reports for those contests will commence on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

The APC said the staggered dates are meant to ensure orderly handling and verification of documents from different categories of elections.

In closing, the party urged all relevant committees to ensure that submissions are timely, accurate, and complete. It emphasized that adherence to the deadlines is mandatory for all officials involved.
