Nigerians React As Presidency Replies Omotola Over ‘Hellish’ Comment

Nigerians on micro-blogging site Twitter have called out Bashir Ahmad, personal assistant to president Muhammadu Buhari on new media for his response to a tweet by Nollywood actor Omotola Jalade Ekeinde.

The veteran actress in a tweet on Monday described Nigeria under the watch of president Muhammadu Buhari and vice president Yemi Osinbajo as ‘Hellish’ due to the lack of money in circulation coupled with the continuous assault and killings by uniformed personnel.

In his response, Bashir noted that those who are working for clean money will not complain of Nigeria being hellish insinuating that the actress is grumbling because her source of money may not be clean.

Nigerians on their part took to Twitter to vent their displeasure on the presidential aides’ reply.
